Can I sail myself with the KONGA Float?
No, you are not permitted to sail the KONGA float yourself. However, for guests staying 5 days or longer, we can arrange a nice trip in consultation with a skipper.
You will, however, always have your own small boat (with a motor) at your disposal, which you can use to sail to the shore and which is fun for children to ride in.
What if there is a strong wind, will we be comfortable on the Island?
We will do everything we can to make your stay as pleasant as possible. However, the weather is something we cannot control.
If there is excessive wind, we will keep the float moored at the mainland. This alternative spot is also lovely: completely private, adjacent to a small park, with a terrace and a wide view over the Frisian meadows.
For every night that cannot be spent at the island, a discount of €50 per night will be given on the rental price.
Will we be able to cook on board?
The KONGA float has a fully equipped kitchen, with a fridge and small freeze department. We supply the bare basics. But you have enough space to store your groceries. When you are located on the island, you are free to use our BBQ.
What if the batteries die and we are in the dark?
Before we leave you to enjoy your peace and quiet. We will have explained everything about how the float works. You will be oke. But if not. We are only 15 minutes away.
